Play-by-Play Broadcast Intern | DubSea Fish Sticks (Summer 2026)
Location: White Center, WA
Season: Summer 2026 (May–August)
Position Type: Internship (college credit encouraged)
Overview:
The DubSea Fish Sticks are seeking Play-by-Play Broadcast Interns for the 2026 summer season. Interns will serve as an on-air voice for live game broadcasts, calling DubSea Fish Sticks games and helping bring the energy of The Show to fans watching and listening online.
Responsibilities:
- Provide live play-by-play commentary for Fish Sticks games
- Prepare game notes, rosters, and storylines
- Work with color commentators and production staff during live broadcasts
- Read sponsor messaging and promotional elements on-air
- Maintain an energetic, professional broadcast presence
- Accept coaching and feedback to improve performance
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in sports broadcasting or journalism
- Solid knowledge of baseball rules and terminology
- Clear speaking voice and strong communication skills
- Ability to perform in a live broadcast environment
- Availability for evening and weekend games
- Reliable, coachable, and team-oriented
Preferred (Not Required):
- Prior play-by-play or announcing experience
- Broadcast, journalism, or communications coursework
- Audio or video samples of previous work
